Everything you should know before coming to see us
A venue visit answers questions a website cannot. Come prepared and one visit is usually enough to make a confident decision.
- Fix an approximate date range and a rough guest count before you visit — everything else follows from those two numbers.
- Decide whether you want the hall only or a complete arrangement including food and decoration.
- Bring the family member who will make the final decision, so you are not repeating the visit.
- Note the programme you want on the day, including timings for the ceremony, food and photographs.
- Ask what is included and what is charged separately, and get it in writing.
- Walk through the dining area and washrooms, not only the main hall.
- Check where guests will park and how elderly relatives will enter.
- Ask about setup access time for decorators and caterers.
- Confirm the advance amount, payment schedule and cancellation terms before booking.
